- AD7701 – это 16-битный АДЦ, использующий технику преобразования типа сигма-дельта. Аналоговый вход постоянно перезаписывается аналоговым модулятором; средний процент времени вывода соответствует входному сигналу. Выходной сигнал модулятора обрабатывается цифровым фильтром на чипе, имеющим шестилопастную гауссова характеристику; этот фильтр обновляет регистр выходных данных с помощью 16-битных бинарных слов со скоростью до 4 кГц. Частота перезаписи, угловая частота фильтра и скорость вывода данных устанавливаются через главный входной сигнал часовой системы, который может поступать как извне, так и от кристально-контролируемого часового осциллятора на чипе.
- Непревзойденная линейность АДЦ гарантирована; точность при предельных значениях также обеспечена благодаря самокалибрации нуля и полного диапазона сигналов, которая может проводиться в любое время. Схема самокалибрации также позволяет устранить ошибки системы и погрешности усиления в входном канале.
- Выходные данные доступны через гибкий серийный порт, который имеет асинхронное режим совместимый с UART, а также два синхронных режима, подходящих для связи с шифтовыми регистрами или серийными портами стандартных микроконтроллеров.
- Конструкция на основе технологии CMOS обеспечивает низкое энергопотребление; режим выключения снижает потребление энергии до всего лишь 10 µВт.
