AD7843 представляет собой 12-битный АЦП последовательного приближения с синхронным последовательным интерфейсом и низким сопротивлением открытых ключей для управления сенсорными экранами. Прибор работает от одного источника питания напряжением от 2,2 В до 5,25 В и обеспечивает пропускную способность более 125 квыборок/с. Внешнее опорное напряжение, подаваемое на AD7843, может изменяться от 1 В до +VCC, а диапазон аналогового входного сигнала составляет от 0 В до VREF. Устройство включает режим пониженного энергопотребления, который снижает ток потребления до менее 1 мкА. Данная микросхема выпускается в 16-выводном корпусе Quarter Size Outline (QSOP) с шириной 0,15 дюйма и в 16-выводном корпусе Thin Shrink Small Outline (TSSOP).
