Description

The DM303008 is a KeeLoq 3 development kit designed to help engineers get up to speed quickly using PIC microcontrollers (MCUs), and provides everything needed to program, debug, and develop secure authentication applications. The controller board uses a modular approach so it can be used in various configurations. The board features a 14 pin PICtail connector to accommodate a radio receiver board and a 28 pin PICtail connector for expansion. The PIC16F886 microcontroller on the controller board can be programmed in circuit using the onboard PICkit connector. Also, it can be connected to the PICkit Serial analyser for serial communication with a PC. The KEELOQ 3 development Kit is a hardware platform that can be used to evaluate various KEELOQ based encryption/decryption solutions. Once the user gets familiar with the operation of the kit, the software can be modified to suit the user"s needs.
