Description

The PTH08T260WAD is a 16.5W through hole-mount non-isolated Adjust Power Module with TurboTrans™. The PTH08T260W is the higher input voltage (4.5 to 14V) version of the PTH04T260W (2.2 to 5.5V), 3A rated, non-isolated power module. This regulator represents the 2nd generation of the PTH series of power modules which include a reduced footprint and improved features. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5 to 14V, the PTH08T260W requires a single resistor to set the output voltage to any value over the range, 0.69 to 5.5V. The wide input voltage range makes the PTH08T260W particularly suitable for advanced computing and server applications that use a loosely regulated 8 to 12V intermediate distribution bus. Additionally, the wide input voltage range increases design flexibility by supporting operation with tightly regulated 5, 8 or 12V intermediate bus architectures. Output over-current and over-temperature shutdown protects against most load faults.
