Изготовленное с использованием передовой КМОП-технологии, семейство MAX 7000 на основе ЭСППЗУ обеспечивает от 600 до 5000 используемых вентилей, ISP, задержки между выводами до 5 нс и частоты счетчиков до 175,4 МГц. Устройства MAX 7000S в диапазонах скоростей -5, -6, -7 и -10, а также устройства MAX 7000 и MAX 7000E в диапазонах скоростей -5, -6, -7, -10P и -12P соответствуют спецификации PCI Local Bus Specification, Revision 2.2 организации PCI Special Interest Group (PCI SIG). См. таблицу 3 для доступных диапазонов скоростей.
