Память устройства конфигурируется в виде битов x8 или x16 в зависимости от настройки контакта ORG. Современная CMOS-технология делает эти устройства идеальными для применения в низкоэнергетических неvolatile памятных устройствах. Эти устройства также оснащены контактом Program Enable (PE), который позволяет пользователю защитить от записи весь содержимое массива памяти. 93LC76/86 доступны в стандартных корпусах PDIP с 8 контактами и SOIC с 8 контактами для поверхностного монтажа.
