ОБЩЕЕ ОПИСАНИЕ
ADN2830 обеспечивает замкнутый контур регулирования средней оптической мощности лазерного диода (ЛД) непрерывного излучения (CW) после первоначальной заводской настройки. Контур регулирования изменяет ток смещения лазера Ibias для поддержания постоянного тока фотодиода контроля заднего зеркала (MPD) и, следовательно, постоянной оптической
мощности лазера. Внешний резистор PSET настраивается при заводской установке для задания желаемой оптической мощности. RPSET устанавливается равным 1,23/IAV, где IAV — ток MPD, соответствующий желаемой оптической мощности. Предусмотрены программируемые сигналы тревоги для отказа лазера (конец срока службы) и деградации лазера (приближающийся отказ).
Для обеспечения контроля тока MPD фотодиод MPD может быть подключен к выводу IMPD. В этом случае ток MPD зеркалируется на вывод IMPDMON для контроля, а внутри микросхемы — на вывод PSET для замыкания контура регулирования. Замыкая обратную связь с помощью IBMON, а не MPD,
подключенного к PSET, устройство настраивается на управление постоянным током в лазере, а не постоянной оптической выходной мощностью.
